Interfaith Outreach
“O people! Behold, we have created you from a male and a female and have made you into nations and tribes so that you might come to know one another. Verily, the noblest of you in the sight of God is the one who is most deeply conscious of God. Behold, God is all-knowing, all-aware.” (Quran 49:13)
The Interfaith & Outreach Committee of Islamic Foundation aims to foster a better understanding of Islam and Muslims among our friends and neighbors of different faiths – whether they be communities, congregations or individuals. We organize several community outreach programs throughout the year and our highlight event of the year is our Annual Interfaith Dinner. We also participate in events that benefit the community at large such as blood drives, community food distribution, clothes drives.
We are proud to be a part of the Villa Park and the broader Chicagoland community partnering with many faith and civic organizations that focus on building mutual respect and understanding among people of different faiths.
